Each course can be tailored to the individual needs and experience of each person and spread across either twelve or twenty months depending on the level taken. A Level 2/3 course for example would be the equivalent to three A2 qualifications.
Typically the learner would be required to do around 1-3 hours of study, course work or assignments each week depending on the level of course taken.
Work activities that meet the standards can be used as evidence and count as time spent on the qualification.
A visit would be arranged every 4-6 weeks by a teacher/trainer who will sit with the learner individually to discuss all aspects of the course, check how they are progressing and if necessary make any adjustments to the modules being studied.
On average the one-on-one sessions will last around 1 to 2 hours during the working day.
